As a Salesforce developer, you will work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure thetimelyand effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts.You'llwork in all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations.You’llalso serve as an advisor to our clients andprovideguidanceregardinghow they might adoptnew technologiesor add new features to support the mission.We’relooking for someone like you to champion the technology that changes the face of healthcare.
In this role,you’llhave an impact from day one.You'llapply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform following best practices andutilizingSalesforce declarative capabilities whereappropriate. You'll build positive relationships with other team members and write clean, maintainable Apex code while keeping governor limits in mind. You'll be able to use web development technologies such as Lightning Web Components, Salesforce platform’s declarative capabilities, and mentor and grow junior team members will be key. You Have:
2+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce pages, and Aura Components or Lightning Web Components
2+ years of experience with software engineering or software development
Experience with committing code and metadata to git repositories
Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Ability to speak and write English fluently
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with federal government or healthcare IT
Experience with Salesforce DevOps technologies and tools, including GitHub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum
Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent client-facing or advisory skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
