The Opportunity:
As a SAN Engineer, you will be an integral part of our operations team. You will be responsible for the installation and management of the SAN, including imaging SAN servers from bare-metal, connecting the networking, arranging the VLANs, and managing the servers via various error logs and management consoles. You will maintain the current environment and be able to troubleshoot a variety of SAN types, including HP LeftHand, Caringo, or Compellent. As this is a production environment, identified issues will be reported and addressed within 24 hours.

You Have:
- 6+ years of experience in large-scale SAN storage management, including multiple servers and Petabyte storage
- Experience with the installation and setup of SAN and computer systems such as Dell Blade Servers
- Knowledge of Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI)
- Ability to troubleshoot problems in connections to Windows servers, including Windows Server 2008R2 and up
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Dell DX or Caringo SWARM-based SANs, including installation, setup, and support of a large 200-node installation of Object Storage SAN
- Experience operating object storage as compared to traditional file systems
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
