Strategic Facilities Planner Engineer

As a facilities professional, you understand that rigorous engineering review, technical coordination, and attention to detail are essential to supporting installation infrastructure and mission-critical facilities. That’s why we need an experienced facilities professional like you who can apply engineering judgment, analytical skill, and multi-discipline understanding to support complex facilities and design review efforts for the Marine Corps.
On our team, you’ll help manage and support engineering review activities from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Specifically, you’ll assist with multi-discipline technical reviews of facility designs, evaluate engineering inputs for completeness and compliance, and support documentation that informs facility planning, design development, and execution. You’ll help ensure engineering products align with installation requirements, applicablestandards, and long-term infrastructure needs.
In this role, you’ll closely impact Marine Corps installation management by reviewing technical materials, analyzing field conditions, developing engineering inputs, and coordinating with Public Works, master planners, environmental offices, and engineering teams. By contributing to multi-discipline engineering documentation and helping validate facility requirements, you’ll support informed decision-making and improved engineering outcomes across the installation. You Have:
Experienceassisting with technical reviews, engineering documentation development, or facility design evaluation
Experiencepreparing or contributing to engineering assessments, design review inputs, or technical summaries
Experienceconducting or contributing to multi-discipline engineering reviews for facility design submissions
Knowledge offacility engineering principles, building systems, or infrastructure planning practices
Ability tointerpret engineering design submissions, field conditions, and regulatory requirements, and synthesize them into structured engineering assessments
Ability tocoordinate with installation-level stakeholders to support documentation, design reviews, or engineering validation activities
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degreein Engineering or Architecture and 10+ years of experiencesupporting facilities engineering, facility lifecycle management, or infrastructure analysis, or Master’s degreeand 5+ years of experience supporting facilities engineering, facility lifecycle management, or infrastructure analysis
Professional Engineer (PE)or Registered Architect (RA)Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experiencesupporting Marine Corps commands, Navy commands, or otherDoD installation engineering organizations
Experiencesupporting MILCON, FSRM, or UMMC project planning or engineering documentation
Experiencedeveloping Statements of Architectural and Engineering Services (SAES), design review packages, or RFP inputs
Knowledge ofUFC criteria, MILCON or FSRM engineering standards, or facility design review workflows
Ability touse AutoCAD, GIS, or engineering-focused facility or asset management tools
Master’s degreein Engineering or Architecture
PMP, CFM, or similarEngineering or Facilities Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
