Security Engineer

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experiencein designing and developing secure cloud platforms to support law enforcement? As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the enterprise-wide cloud policiesand plans needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experienceto lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will support law enforcement.

On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge ofsecure cloud platforms, security architecture, network defense, data protection, and threat monitoring. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and developsecurity solutions. Using your knowledge and experience, you’ll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.

In this role, you’ll closely impact law enforcement by protecting mission-critical applications and infrastructure. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You’ll Work On:

• Developrelationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experiencein a cloud security role
• Experiencewith mobile security architecture
• Ability tobrief executives and manage cross-functional security efforts
• Ability tolead the design, development, and operations of secure mobile platforms
• Ability tobe responsible for advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with enterprise and federal security standards
• Ability toact as a subject matter expert and collaborate across teams and with external partners to protect mission-critical applications and infrastructure
• Ability toobtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith Microsoft InTune
• Experienceanalyzing complex security data to detect, remediate, and prevent cyber threats
• Experienceguiding platform and application teams on secure architecture best practices
• Experiencecoordinating vulnerability management activities and provide actionable recommendations
• Ability torepresent the organization in coordination with industry and government security partners
• Ability toensure compliance with federal and industry standards, including NIST, CNSSI 4009, and DoD policies
• Possession ofexcellent communication and leadership skills
• CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or GCIH Certification
