Technical Baseline Systems Engineer

As a technical baseline systems engineer on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and DoW clients to analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy the next generation of resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM)and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR)systems. You'll develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Models-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)products. You'll provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design, and test issues to inform major program decisions. You'll perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification. You'll analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experienceworking on large-scale systems engineering, integration, and development programs
• 2+ years of experienceperforming and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plans
• Experienceleading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program
• Experiencecoordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review
• Experienceusing Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Knowledge ofsystems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degreein Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS

Nice If You Have:

• Experienceperforming systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remotesensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS
• Experiencewith satellite Command and Control (C2)architecture and development
• Experienceusing MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines
• Experiencecreating and managing Jira tickets or Confluence pages
• Experiencewith SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGen
• Knowledge ofDoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
• Knowledge ofAgile methodologies
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degreein Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certificationsuch as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
