You Have:
Experienceworking as a telecommunications engineer
Experiencein optical transmission technologies and optical test procedures
Experiencewith system-level network topology planning and physical-layer telecommunications infrastructure
Experience drafting requirements, technical site documentation, trip reports, engineering change requests, and architecture diagrams
Experiencearchitecting and designing complex systems
Experiencewith network technology, components, systems, and vendors
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degreeand 8+ years of experiencewith network technologies, or 12+ years of experiencewith network technologies in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experiencewith telecom service providerengagement
Knowledge ofDISN operational processes, Telecommunications Service Orders (TSOs), Telecommunications Service Requests (TSRs), and Department of Defense (DoD)network security architectures
Ability toresearch and resolve issues in systems implementations and configurations
BICSI Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
