Lead Engineer / Architect (.NET)

You will lead a small engineering team in India and work day to day with engineering groups in the US and Mexico. The work is backend-heavy in .NET, and the role carries both the architecture decisions and the delivery of them. Working across time zones is a real part of the job, so how clearly you communicate matters as much as what you build.

What you'll do

• Lead a small engineering team in India, driving day-to-day technical execution and delivery
• Work with teams in the US and Mexico to plan, build and ship software together
• Design and build robust, scalable backend systems in .NET
• Own the decisions on architecture, implementation and engineering practice
• Contribute across the full stack where the work calls for it
• Break down complex technical problems and drive them through to delivery
• Mentor engineers and hold a high standard of engineering quality
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to distributed teams

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including time in a lead role
• 2+ years leading a team
• Strong, hands-on .NET and backend engineering
• A solid grasp of software architecture and scalable backend systems
• Full-stack experience preferred, with React a plus
• Excellent communication, particularly across distributed teams
• A hands-on approach to problem solving

Nice to have

Experience with payment systems or payment-related products. AI experience is also a plus.
