Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Develop data processing solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Ingest and process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Optimize Databricks jobs, clusters, notebooks, and Spark workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
• Manage data storage and ingestion using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2).
• Integrate APIs, databases, and cloud services into data platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control for Databricks projects.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline and job execution issues.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are maintained.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Total Years of Experience: 3+ years
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of Azure ecosystem services.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.
• Understanding of workflow orchestration and scheduling.
