We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to join BrainyYack and help build modern, scalable applications and AI-powered solutions for our clients.
The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on engineer who can take ownership of complex backend development, architecture, integrations, and production-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Python applications, APIs, and backend services
- Build integrations with third-party platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems
- Work on AI/ML and LLM-powered applications, agents, and automation workflows
- Design clean, maintainable system architectures
- Work with databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, DevOps, and frontend/mobile engineers
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues
- Help establish engineering standards and mentor other developers
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Advanced Python experience
- Strong experience building APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Experience with SQL and modern databases
- Strong understanding of system architecture and API design
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Docker, CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps practices
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs is highly desirable
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain/LangGraph, RAG, vector databases, or AI agentsis a strong asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders
