Due to continued growth, Brandt is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join our Rotorua Sales Team. This role offers the opportunity to be based in Taupō while supporting the Rotorua branch and surrounding region.

About the role:
As a Sales Consultant you will bring expertise and responsiveness to the table every day on a team dedicated to world class customer service and solutions. This career opportunity offers earnings potential along with exposure for career advancement.
- Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers, within a geographic area (which Brandt may amend from time to time, at its sole discretion)
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
- Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
- Monitors trends in customer business and competitors’ activity/products
- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
- Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customers events.
- Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
- Timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports etc to Management
- Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
About you:
- The ability to grow sales within a specified sale territory.
- Organization skills are a must have.
- The capability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
- A strong communicator with the skill to effectively influence others.
- Ability to build and maintain long term relationships.
- Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
