Job Summary
Brik Oven is looking for a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - Bakery & Pastry to join our kitchen team at Doddaballapura CK. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking fresh bread, making and handling dough, preparing pastries, and working with cheese-based bakery products. The role requires good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient measurements, food quality, hygiene standards, and maintaining consistency in all preparations.
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, including artisan breads and other bakery products.
- Handle dough preparation, mixing, kneading, fermentation, proofing, shaping, and baking.
- Prepare pastries, baked desserts, and other bakery items as per company standards.
- Work with different types of cheese for cheese-based breads, pastries, and other bakery preparations.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and ingredient measurements to maintain product consistency.
- Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section and ensure proper food storage.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
- Manage daily bakery preparation and ensure timely availability of products.
- Coordinate with the Chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth operations and minimise food wastage.
