ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Security Supervisor to oversee a busy gatehouse operation in Wrexham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of security officers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the gatehouse and maintaining the highest standards of site security, safety and professionalism.
This role is ideal for a confident leader who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead a team to deliver an efficient and professional security service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and manage a team of security officers within a busy gatehouse environment.
Oversee daily gatehouse operations and ensure all procedures are followed.
Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles, visitors, contractors and staff.
Ensure compliance with site security procedures and health and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records, daily logs and incident reports.
Deal professionally with incidents, queries and operational issues.
Provide leadership, guidance and support to the security team.
Maintain excellent standards of customer service and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Previous supervisory experience in a security or gatehouse environment, OR a minimum of 5 years' continuous experience within a gatehouse-type environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A professional, reliable and responsible approach to work.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
The ability to work efficiently within a busy, fast-paced environment.
