We are seeking a full-time skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and guest-ready.
- Complete guest room repairs, including patching, painting, and maintaining overall room appearance.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixtures, faucets, and related components.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor electrical repairs and maintenance as required.
- Repair and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Repair furniture, flooring, tile, windows, mirrors, and other hotel fixtures as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician is required.
- Strong working knowledge of patching, painting, minor plumbing, and minor electrical repairs.
- Experience working with swimming pools and hot tubs is considered a strong asset.
- Availability to work full-time hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to safely work at heights up to 10 feet.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
