The Opportunity:
Capgemini is seeking a Director/Sr Director level executive to lead the account/portfolio delivery.
This person will hold the mentioned responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and manage a team of AWS professionals, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Develop and implement strategies for team growth and skill development.
2. Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to AWS services.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the AWS practice within the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Work closely with partners to build solutions and grow the business.
3. Technical Expertise & Consulting:
- Provide expert consulting services on AWS cloud solutions.
- Design and implement AWS architectures and solutions that meet client needs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS services and technologies.
- Strong understanding on app modernization, cloud migration and Cloud native app development.
4. Client Management & Satisfaction:
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Deliver high-quality AWS projects and solutions on time and within budget.
- Act as a customer advocate, representing client needs and feedback to AWS.
5. Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Explore and implement new technologies and solutions to solve customer challenges.
- Contribute to the development of AWS-related best practices and standards.

Our Ideal Candidate:
He/She/They or the incumbent will have 18+ years of experience with minimum of 10+ years of experience leading IT related "Cloud" projects of various size/scope. A bachelor's degree is required: This person is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction. They use their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset. Key qualifications include:
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with AWS Practice.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with cloud architecture and design.
2. Leadership & Management Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of technical professionals. Should have managed a practice in recent past.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
3. Business Acumen:
- Understanding of the cloud market and AWS ecosystem.
- Worked on SOW, PO, M&A for cloud deals.
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Other Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
5. Certifications:
- AWS advanced certifications (preferred).
- Other relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) may also be beneficial.
