Within Capgemini Invent, our Business Technology team supports CIOs (Chief Information Officers) and CDOs (Chief Digital Officers) in accelerating the digital transformation of their organizations.
At Business Technology, we combine our M&A expertise with our digital DNA to get as close as possible to our clients challenges - from defining the vision to operational implementation. We handle all IT aspects in all their dimensions: organization, operating model, IT strategy, applications, infrastructures, cyber security, financial implications, management of transitions and contractual aspects.
Your Role
Our IT M&A consultants are involved in managing technology aspect of M&A, ensuring seamless integration, separation or transformation of IT systems. As part of this high performing team, you will get an opportunity to advice and work with our key global clients and support them in their inorganic growth agenda across their deal lifecycle driving end-to-end strategic value and business growth.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- IT Due Diligence: Assess IT infrastructure, applications, data, operating model, sourcing strategy, etc. of the target company. Identify potential risks, synergies and opportunities related to the technology. Define and manage/ track TSA and develop TSA exit strategies.
- Integration and Separation Planning and Execution: Develop and implement IT integration/ separation strategies including infrastructure, application, data migration, etc. Plan and support Day 1 and Day 100 readiness. Design IT Operating model. Design and implement migration plans for application base and infrastructure.
- Track progress of IT integration or separation activities ensuring alignment with business objective. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions within critical timelines. Identify and develop risk mitigation strategies during the process. Setting up governance and advising client on best practices throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Business development: Candidate with experience working on RFPs and RFIs responses preferred. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to articulate value propositions. Draft high-quality, persuasive responses that align with client expectations and business goals and should have a solutioning mindset.
Your Profile
- MBA from tier 1 institute. At least 3 years of consulting experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures/ Carve-outs/ Separations, Corporate Strategy/Restructuring IT, financial or business experience towards M&A issues: due diligence, preparation for Day-1, carve-out, PMI, IT strategy, digital platforms, architectures, etc.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, ERP systems, data migration and cybersecurity. A strategic mindset to shape innovative strategies and to solve complex business problems. Experience in working in projects with C level executives as the primary stakeholders.
- Ability to drive actionable outcomes for clients with latest industry trends, key metrics and value drivers. Mastery of basic skills of advising: accuracy, analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, drive, and autonomy
- Good to have understanding and experienced in one or more of other consulting domains – IT cost Optimization, FinOps, Business case, Target Operating Model, Cloud strategy, ERP systems, etc.
