Your role
You'll be part of a team delivering and supporting enterprise database solutions for clients in the financial sector. Your role focuses on ensuring reliable, high-performing database environments, contributing to both daily operations and transformative projects, including cloud initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with other engineers and consultants, helping design, maintain, and improve systems that are critical to business continuity.
Your tasks
Collaborate with DB Engineers and Consultants on enterprise solutions for financial sector clients
Support both RUN operations and large-scale project activities
Participate in database administration, including maintenance and optimization
Manage backup and restore processes to ensure data integrity
Monitor and improve database performance and tuning
Work with clustered High Availability systems
Cooperate with cross-functional teams on cloud transformation projects
Contribute to ongoing improvements of database environments
Your profile
You have experience with MSSQL administration
You understand backup, restore, and performance tuning practices
You have experience with High Availability clustered systems
You bring a strong understanding of database maintenance and administration
You communicate confidently in English (French is an advantage)
You demonstrate efficient task management and organization skills
You show a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
You have exposure to other database engines (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, DB2), Windows Servers/Virtualization, or network topics
