Job Description

Buscamos un/a Software Engineer Ssr/Sr con experiencia en desarrollo backend utilizando Java/Kotlin y Spring Boot, orientado a la construcción de sistemas escalables, resilientes y de alto rendimiento sobre entornos cloud-native en AWS.

La posición requiere un perfil con mentalidad colaborativa, capacidad de resolver problemas de manera autónoma y foco en la calidad técnica. La persona será responsable de impulsar iniciativas de ingeniería transversales, incluyendo mantenimiento de plataformas, observabilidad, optimización de costos, compliance y mejoras operativas.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener sistemas backend escalables, performantes y confiables.
  • Participar en definiciones de arquitectura y diseño técnico, validando soluciones mediante métricas y experimentación cuando sea necesario.
  • Tomar ownership sobre iniciativas de ingeniería relacionadas con mantenimiento, observabilidad, optimización de costos y tooling interno.
  • Desarrollar, testear y documentar soluciones de software siguiendo buenas prácticas de ingeniería.
  • Participar activamente en code reviews y design reviews.
  • Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios, incluyendo Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists y Designers.
  • Analizar y clarificar requerimientos técnicos, participando en actividades de diseño de complejidad intermedia.
  • Contribuir a la estabilidad, performance y evolución continua de las plataformas existentes.

Requisitos

  • Inglés avanzado conversacional (excluyente).
  • 4+ años de experiencia profesional en desarrollo de software con foco en backend.
  • Experiencia sólida en:
    • Java y/o Kotlin
    • Spring Boot
    • AWS
    • MongoDB Atlas o bases de datos NoSQL similares
    • Aurora MySQL o bases de datos relacionales equivalentes
    • Desarrollo de APIs utilizando GraphQL (Netflix DGS)
  • Experiencia construyendo y operando sistemas distribuidos de alta escala, performance y disponibilidad.
  • Experiencia trabajando en entornos cloud-native.

Deseables

  • Experiencia en arquitecturas orientadas a eventos utilizando Kafka y/o Amazon SQS.
  • Conocimientos de Terraform.
  • Experiencia en arquitecturas de microservicios.
  • Desarrollo de APIs REST y gRPC.
  • Experiencia utilizando herramientas de AI-assisted coding.
  • Conocimiento de prácticas de observabilidad, monitoreo y optimización operativa.
