L2 Senior Cloud Infrastructure Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations across AWS and OCI cloud environments.
• Act as L2 escalation point for critical cloud incidents (P1/P2).
• Provision and manage AWS services EC2 RDS, S3 VPC and OCI services Compute, VCN, Object Storage.
• Administer Linux-based workloads, RHEL, Ubuntu, and SUSE.
• Support container platforms Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement IAM, RBAC, and least privilege access controls.
• Manage cloud security WAF, Shield, Firewall, and DDoS protection.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
• Define and monitor backup policies, RTO/RPO adherence for banking systems.
• Conduct DR drills and support Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Implement monitoring and alerting in CloudWatch, OCI Monitoring.
• Drive cost optimisation through FinOps practices and right-sizing.
• Use Python/Shell scripting for automation of routine tasks.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Maintain cloud architecture diagrams, SOPs, and audit documentation.
• Guide L1 teams and coordinate with vendors and InfoSec stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and OCI cloud services.
• Deep understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident handling.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Prior experience in Banking/NBFC environment preferred.
• Scripting skills in Python or Shell.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Good to Have:

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or OCI Architect certification.
• Exposure to BFSI regulatory compliance, RBI, ISO 27001 PCI-DSS.
• Experience in DR drills, VAPT, and internal audits.
• Hybrid cloud environment experience: On-prem DC + Cloud.
