Associate Applications Support Engineer [CCP for ICT Professionals (Operations and Support)]

About the role
Captain's Eye Asia is looking for an Associate Applications Support Engineer based in Singapore to support our maritime AI video analytics applications used on commercial vessels. You will help customers get the most out of our software, resolve application issues, and work with our global Technical Operations and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities
• Handle support tickets related to our applications, dashboards, user accounts, alerts, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot application issues, reproduce problems, collect logs, and document findings clearly.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or R&D with a clear diagnosis, and follow cases through to resolution.
• Support customers and vessel crews with application setup, configuration, and onboarding.
• Monitor system health and alerts, and proactively flag issues.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation.
• Occasionally visit vessels in Singapore ports to support on-site checks and installations.

Requirements
• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, networking (IP, DNS, VPN), and web applications.
• Interest in learning new technologies and troubleshooting systematically.
• Good written and spoken English, able to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Customer-oriented, organised, and able to take ownership of tasks.
• Mid-career switchers are welcome; full training will be provided.

Advantageous
• Experience in application, IT, or technical support.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting (Python or Bash), or cloud platforms.
• Interest in the maritime industry.
