Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• 0 to 1 Ownership: Architect, build, and maintain scalable, production-ready cloud infrastructure from the ground up.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning strictly using Terraform.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud workloads primarily on GCP (AWS experience is also relevant).
• Kubernetes and Containers: Design, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• CI/CD and Developer Workflows: Build, automate, and improve CI/CD deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Observability and Reliability: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) and lead incident response and root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Security and Optimization: Manage IAM, secrets management, and infrastructure security while optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization.
• AI Productivity Integration: Actively leverage AI coding and automation tools (e. g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, LLM scripting) to optimize internal developer workflows and scale efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience: ~5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Mandatory IaC: Strong, hands-on mastery of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Mandatory Cloud Focus: Deep expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is mandatory; a strong AWS background is also acceptable.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Docker, and container orchestration.
• Scripting/Coding: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Product Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated ability to act as a single point of technical ownership, driving projects independently from concept to production rollout.
• AI Tools Exposure: Practical experience or high comfort using AI-assisted tools/workflows to write scripts, debug, and automate developer tooling.
• Core Fundamentals: Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and cloud security best practices.

Good To Have:

• Experience in high-scale startup environments or fintech platforms.
• Exposure to multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, service meshes, or zero-trust security architecture.
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) or custom automation tools.
