Job Purpose and Impact

• The Advisor, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis job provides financial planning support and insights for the organization's businesses and leadership. As a recognized subject matter expert in financial planning and analysis, this job consolidates planning activities in financial planning applications, and leads the analysis and presentation of planning materials for the executive team business review and board of directors. This job participates in long range planning and strategy initiatives, provides input on resources allocation across the organization, and partners with cross functional teams to drive effective planning activities.

Key Accountabilities

• FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS: Applies financial expertise to drive value within the organization, translates financial and market insights into recommendations that improve business performance, assesses performance against competitors and industry trends, and focuses leadership on the most critical risks and opportunities.
• REPORTING, PLANNING & FORECASTING PROCESSES: Evaluate and improve reporting, planning, and forecasting processes. Lead scenario and strategic planning analyses that help leaders weigh options and navigate uncertainty.
• QUARTERLY PLANNING & FORECASTING: Partners with the chief financial officer and enterprise finance leaders to prepare quarterly and annual planning and forecasting materials.
• SETS PERFORMANCE METRICS: Establish performance metrics using historical analysis and external benchmarks. Apply advanced financial modeling to bring fresh perspectives to the business and support strategy execution.
• DRIVES IMPROVEMENT: Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve planning processes with technology and incorporates feedback to refine processes and leadership materials.
• MARKET PERSPECTIVE: Research and interpret market developments to identify emerging issues, provide expert guidance, and contribute to strategic decisions. Monitor external financial markets and the geopolitical climate and clearly articulate and translate their impacts to Cargill for leadership.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience owning a consolidated plan and forecast for a company or large business unit, with a strong command of the three financial statements.
• Track record of preparing executive and Board level materials and presenting financial insights to senior leaders.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills, with proficiency in financial systems (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar platform.
• Strong business judgement and the ability to turn complex data into a clear, concise story.
• Strong understanding of external financial markets and the geopolitical climate, with the ability to clearly articulate and translate their impacts to Cargill.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and the credibility to drive alignment.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to improve forecast accuracy, automate reporting, and accelerate insight generation.

• External FP&A experience at a large, multinational corporation.

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $150,000 - $225,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
