About the Team
The Sales Operations Analyst - Global Marine & Energy plays a critical role in supporting Castrol's Global Marine & Energy (GME) business across the Americas region. As part of the Sales Operations team, you will help ensure efficient commercial processes, provide operational support to account managers, and act as a key liaison between sales teams and global support functions.
Based in Santa Fe, Mexico City with a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office), this role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative global environment, partnering with teams across multiple countries and time zones. You will support customer onboarding, pricing and contract administration, CRM management, sales reporting, commercial analysis, and issue resolution to help deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive business performance
Key Tasks
Support sales operations activities across the Americas region, working closely with Account Managers and commercial teams.
Coordinate customer onboarding, account setup, pricing requests, and master data maintenance.
Maintain CRM data integrity and support sales performance reporting and analysis.
Support contract administration, commercial documentation, and tender activities.
Generate sales insights and performance reporting to support business decision-making.
Partner with global stakeholders across Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to resolve customer and process-related issues.
Investigate and coordinate resolution of pricing discrepancies, invoicing issues, customer requests, and other commercial challenges.
Support forecasting and pipeline management activities while ensuring operational execution aligns with customer commitments.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales processes.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commercial Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales Support, Commercial Excellence, or related roles.
- Experience supporting customer management, contract administration, pricing processes, reporting, and commercial operations.
- Experience within Marine & Energy, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Manufacturing, or other B2B commercial environments is preferred but not required.
- Fluent English and Spanish are required; Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
