We specialise in air systems and ventilation engineering, with extensive experience across the mining, power generation, industrial processing, agricultural, marine/fishing, poultry, commercial and HVAC sectors.

Our projects are typically large-scale and turnkey, taking clients from design and engineering through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HVAC Site Manager - Ventilation & Ducting to take responsibility for one of our two dedicated site installation teams.

This is a key role within our growing business and would suit someone who enjoys being on site, solving problems, coordinating people and equipment, and taking ownership of getting projects completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day execution of ventilation and HVAC installation projects. You will work closely with our Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, Production Manager and Draftsmen to ensure projects move efficiently from planning through to successful completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and other external stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure the required safety files and site documentation are in place before work commences.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety requirements and client-specific site rules.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify potential delays, risks and issues and take proactive action to resolve them.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and housekeeping on site.
  • Ensure effective communication between the site team, engineering, production and project management.

  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
  • A technical or tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Construction Management or a related field will be advantageous.

What We Are Looking For

You will ideally be:

  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • A confident and practical leader who can manage and motivate a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong at planning, organising and coordinating multiple requirements.
  • A good communicator who can work effectively with engineers, managers, clients, subcontractors and employees.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Results-driven and committed to meeting project deadlines.
  • Methodical, structured and attentive to detail.
