Salesforce Architect

Your responsibilities:

- Develop Salesforce solutions on the Salesforce Core Platform.

- Review code and act as a technical quality gate for the developer team.

- Identify bad practices, implementation risks, and maintainability issues early.

- Ensure that development follows agreed standards, best practices, and architectural guardrails.

- Support developers with technical feedback and practical guidance.

- Act as the local technical counterpart and sparring partner to the client-side Technical Lead.

- Contribute to the design and implementation of partner management processes.

- Support the integration of Salesforce into the existing IT infrastructure.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and users.

- Help establish strong engineering practices and a sustainable team setup in a new delivery environment.

Must Have:

- Several years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Salesforce Core Platform.

- Strong Apex development skills and solid experience with Salesforce development best practices.

- Proven experience conducting code reviews and improving code quality in a team environment.

- Ability to identify anti-patterns, performance issues, security risks, and maintainability problems in Salesforce implementations.

- Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies and agile ways of working.

- Experience translating business and technical requirements into robust implementation approaches.

- Experience with Git and the Salesforce CLI.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and developers.

- Ability to guide developers and enforce engineering standards in day-to-day delivery.

Nice to have:

- Experience in API design and integrating Salesforce into an existing system landscape.

- Experience with CI/CD practices in Salesforce development.

- Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and LWC.

- Salesforce certifications.
