Senior Software Engineer (Chainlink Runtime)

Join Chainlink, a leading provider of decentralized oracle networks. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) platform. You will design and build distributed systems, improve workflow execution durability, and partner with engineering teams across the organization. The ideal candidate has experience designing and operating large-scale production platforms, building production APIs, and a strong interest in blockchain infrastructure and Web3 technologies.

- Experience building production APIs and backend applications serving multiple stakeholders

- Strong experience designing and operating distributed systems

- Strong systems thinking with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and solve complex technical problems

- Demonstrated ability to deliver reliable, high-quality software through rigorous engineering practices

- Advanced proficiency developing production systems in Go (Golang)

- Experience defining, measuring, and improving service reliability through SLOs and SLIs

- Experience developing software using TypeScript, Solidity, or additional backend technologies

- Strong interest in blockchain infrastructure and Web3 technologies

- Experience developing financial infrastructure, banking systems, or other mission-critical distributed platforms

- Experience building decentralized applications (dApps)
