About the Role
Choice One Engineering is seeking a Utility Design Civil Engineer
to join our team in our Loveland office. In this role, you'll work alongside talented professionals to create projects that make a lasting difference in the communities we serve while continuing to grow personally and professionally.
Compensation
2-5 years of relevant experience:Total annual compensation is expected to range from $100,000 - $112,000, including base salary and anticipated profit-sharing bonuses. Exempt employees are also eligible to earn straight-time overtime pay, which may increase total annual compensation above the stated range.
What You'll Do
- Lead plan production efforts for underground utilities, including water, sewer, and stormwater systems, using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Interact with clients, including local municipalities, ODOT, contractors, and other consulting companies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate utility designs into overall project plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Work closely with other technical staff within Choice One Engineering to provide underground utilities design and consulting engineering services.
What You'll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- 2 - 10 years of experience in utility design.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, responsiveness, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work onsite in our Loveland, OH office.
- Continuous learning mindset with a desire for professional growth and development.
Preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
