Key Responsibilities:
Engineering leadership: Leads a global team of around 10 engineers across regions, with hands-on experience in architecture and development.
Identity and authentication expertise: Strong background in consumer and workforce authentication, identity, authorization, fraud/risk controls, and onboarding for applications, APIs, and global multi-country environments.
Technical and delivery strengths: Experienced in modern standards and technologies such as OIDC, OAuth 2.0, FIDO2, SAML, RBAC/ABAC, cloud platforms, DevOps automation, and web/app/API stacks.
Strategic collaboration: Works closely with Infosec, business, operations, application teams, vendors, and strategic partners to design, build, maintain, and migrate authentication solutions.
Leadership and execution: Focused on security, quality, user experience, automation, resiliency, and best-practice delivery for large-scale, always-on enterprise solutions.
Core capabilities: Strong communication, time management, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Qualifications
Hands-on Engineering leader that has grown organically with development, architect experience and has delivered Authn & Authz solutions for Global enterprises for several years.
Extensive experience in implementing Identity, Authn & Authz solutions using products, in-house solutions, and frameworks across legacy and Modern WebAuth domains.
Extensive experience and knowledge in different Autn & Authz models (header, agent, proxy, SAML, OIDC, oAuth 2.0, FIDO 2.0, RBA, RBAC, ABAC etc)
Extensive knowledge of Deployment topologies, Infrastructure, on-prem, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
Extensive knowledge of Web, App and API technologies in Java, Microsoft, Angular, ReactJS etc.
Extensive experience of delivering large -scale solutions in Global Enterprise companies (No. of Users, No. of Authentications, Global Availability etc.).
Extensive experience in implementing Authn Fraud policies that align to best security practices.
Solid knowledge in Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
Solid knowledge in Devops automation for IAM solutions.
Solid knowledge of InfoSec and Identity Access management Policies, Standards and Processes.
Solid experience in large data processing, fast response times, Always-On model frameworks and applications that corresponds to best deployment topologies and resiliency plans.
Solid experience in building complete fault-tolerant applications with high 9 SLA’s.
Time management and organizational skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to mentor and collaborate with members of different skill sets and levels.
