Your Impact

You will own end-to-end quality assurance across web and mobile applications, design and implement test automation frameworks, leverage AI-powered test generation and self-healing automation to accelerate quality delivery, develop risk-based test strategies, and drive continuous quality improvements across enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of quality.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end test strategies, test plans, and risk-based quality approaches for enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks using Playwright with Pytest, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high code reusability through Page Object Model (POM) patterns.
• Drive AI-powered test generation and self-healing test automation using tools like Playwright Test Agents and GitHub Copilot; leverage prompt engineering to accelerate test script creation, maintenance, and auto-repair of failing tests.
• Perform comprehensive Functional, Non-Functional, API, Database, and Performance Testing across web and mobile platforms (Android & iOS).
• Validate complex application migrations and enterprise-scale transitions involving large numbers of users and configurations.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX teams, and development teams to validate UI/UX prototypes and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD integrated test pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins for continuous quality feedback.
• Monitor application health and quality using observability tools (Splunk); analyze production metrics to identify quality trends and drive improvements.
• Mentor and guide QA team members on testing methodologies, automation best practices, and domain-specific knowledge sharing.
• Manage test documentation, traceability matrices, and test management tools to ensure complete requirements coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; occasionally fulfil Scrum Master responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors (8-12 years) or Master’s degree(6-10 years) in Computer Science, EE/ECE or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with expertise in Functional, Non-Functional, Automation, Web, and Mobile Application Testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright (with Pytest) and/or Robot Framework (with Selenium).
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman, and performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and version control (GitHub).
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python; working knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with database systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in test management tools: Jira, Confluence, qTest, or HP ALM.
• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS using real devices, simulators, and tools like Appium, Android Studio, and Xcode.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers and product owners.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving quality culture across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with debugging and verification methodologies
• Experience with AI-powered test generation, self-healing test frameworks, and intelligent automation tools (Playwright Test Agents, GitHub Copilot, MABL, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Docker-based test environments and containerized test execution.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Behave, Cucumber) for behavior-driven test development.
• Knowledge of security testing tools: Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or SAST/DAST.
• Experience with contract testing (Pact) or service virtualization for microservices-based platforms.
• ISTQB Advanced Level or relevant testing certifications.
• Experience with load/performance testing at scale (10,000+ concurrent users).
