Senior Product Designer, Brazil

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining workflows, developing concepts, and crafting new interactions and components. Your expertise should bring simplicity, transparency, and delight to the complex finance industry, leveraging AI to enhance the design process and elevate the quality and speed of your work.

This role demands a hands-on approach and a keen interest in simplifying complex, antiquated mortgage processes. You will be involved in every step of the product design process - from discovery and interaction design to visual execution.

Responsibilities

• Craft user experiences that transform how lending institutions process loan applications.
• Lead projects and initiatives, defining strategy and UX vision through cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
• Develop design foundations that are scalable across a diverse customer base and applicable to various loan application offerings.
• Elevate the design team's craft, inspiring the team to build towards an impactful vision.
• Re-envision internal processes necessary for loan origination and home transactions.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Fluent English skills (100% US client-facing environment).
• At least 5 years of full-time product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional quality.

• Strategic facilitation: comfortable leading calls and working sessions with product teams and engineers - driving alignment and guiding teams from problem to delivery.
• Strong execution: fast and efficient in Figma, with solid experience managing design systems, well-thought-out interactions, and responsive design.
• AI-forward mindset: actively uses AI tooling to enhance design exploration, research, and delivery speed - and is comfortable with frequent shifts in tools, processes, and priorities as the landscape evolves.
• Ramps up quickly: able to hit the ground running, jump into multiple teams' problems simultaneously, and guide them through to delivery.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: capable of making meaningful progress without a perfectly defined brief.
• Clear communicator: confident presenting and explaining design decisions to stakeholders, both written and verbal, in English - across distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Systems-thinking mindset - eager to transform manual, complex processes into streamlined digital experiences.

• Understanding of mortgage terminology and basic lending principles.
