Citi is a leading global financial services company headquartered in New York City, offering a broad range of banking, investment, and wealth management services to consumers, corporations, and institutions. As one of the world's largest banking institutions, it operates across more than 160 countries and jurisdictions, serving as a critical facilitator of global commerce. Through its primary consumer division, Citibank, alongside its institutional businesses, the company provides everyday banking, credit cards, capital markets solutions, and cross-border payment infrastructure worldwide.

Citi is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Funds Middle Office product strategy and delivery across the APAC region, covering both core operational functions and investment analytics and reporting products. Based in Singapore, this Senior Vice President-level role sits within Citi's Securities Services business and is central to shaping how Middle Office products are developed, managed, and delivered to institutional fund clients across one of the world's most dynamic financial markets. If you are a seasoned Middle Office specialist ready to own a broad product portfolio and drive meaningful client impact at regional scale, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and lifecycle for the full suite of Funds Middle Office products across APAC, spanning core functions including Trade Matching, Settlement, and IBOR, as well as specialized offerings such as Performance, Attribution, Risk, Post Trade Compliance, and End Client Reporting.
  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core Middle Office functions, ensuring consistent product delivery, high-quality client experience, and adherence to operational standards across the APAC region.
  • Lead the strategic development and operational oversight of Investment Analytics and Reporting products, collaborating with jurisdictional partners to drive enhancements and ensure alignment with regional client requirements.
  • Define and execute client value propositions, segmentation, and targeting strategies across all Middle Office products, using APAC market and competitor research to sharpen differentiation and inform the product innovation roadmap.
  • Coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives across product, operations, technology, and support functions, influencing architectural decisions and managing seamless transitions for both clients and the business.
  • Act as the primary in-region point of contact for product scope and capabilities, managing client relationships directly, resolving issues, and ensuring product models remain aligned with evolving market demands.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and strategic partners to drive product innovation, manage ongoing relationships, and negotiate agreements that enhance the overall Middle Office offering.
  • Assess risk in product decisions with care for Citi's reputation, ensuring all activity complies with applicable regulations, internal policies, and sound risk management standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience, with substantial hands-on expertise in Middle Office operations, ideally gained within a Funds Services business.
  • Deep knowledge of core Middle Office functions including Trade Matching, Settlement, and IBOR, alongside strong familiarity with Performance, Attribution, Risk, Post Trade Compliance, and End Client Reporting products.
  • Demonstrated background in product management, encompassing product development, lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience leading and coordinating across multi-function or global business environments, with a track record of influencing change across product, operations, and technology teams.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, driving complex programme, and delivering results in a senior, autonomous capacity.
  • Analytical and structured in approach, with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, make sound decisions under pressure, and communicate conclusions clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is "Good to Have".
  • Hands-on experience with industry platforms such as Charles River, Aladdin, BBG AIM, Simcorp, FactSet, or Vermilion.
  • Experience as an Agile Product Owner or in an equivalent role within an Agile Release Train or similar framework, with a technical background considered an advantage.
  • Broad exposure across product disciplines including marketing, credit, acquisitions, and analytics within a financial services environment.
