Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is a leading provider of cash management and trade finance/services to corporate, public sector and financial institutions clients around the world. With a global network spanning 98 countries, and serving clients in 160, TTS is uniquely qualified to serve clients with local and cross-border interests and provide integrated reporting and management tools

As Citi pivots to sustained growth across all of its business lines (both corporate and consumer), there is a recognition that a key enabler is the ability to better harness data, analytics, and insights, both within individual business units, but also across business lines to create incremental value, both internally and externally. Citi is seeking a strong business-minded analytical leader to both create and execute against a data agenda that will accelerate business outcomes for a single business unit/line, but also unlock value by partnering with other data leaders from other parts of Citi’s business. This Data Leader will interface with multiple business stakeholders to understand needs/priorities and pave the path for how data & analytics can used to accelerate outcomes. This Data Leader is expected to not only partner to deliver tangible business outcomes in North America, but also serve as a key evangelist in helping Citi become a data-native organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business priorities into data and analytics opportunities
- Lead analytical projects from idea to execution
- Apply AI and machine learning to business problems
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance
- Set and drive the data and analytics agenda
- Bridge business, data science, and technology
- Lead the commercialization agenda of analytics solutions
- Lead data-driven sales origination
- Localize and scale global capabilities
- Advance the AI and digital agenda
- Support sales and product teams through data and analytics
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
- 10+ years of professional experience in data, analytics, data science, business intelligence, or a related field. Experience in transaction banking or in financial services is preferred.
- Bachelor´s degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, operations research, computer science, or another quantitative or related discipline. A master´s degree is preferred.
- Business-to-analytics translation skills. Proven ability to understand business problems, define analytical approaches, and translate business requirements.
- Experience delivering analytical solutions. Ability to take analytical concepts from initial idea through development, deployment, adoption, and measurement of business impact.
- Technology partnership experience. Ability to work effectively with technology teams.
- Technical familiarity with Python, Snowflake, and comparable data and analytics technologies. Hands-on experience is required.
- Strong commercial orientation. Ability to connect analytical insights to revenue growth, client outcomes, cost efficiency, risk management, or profitability.
- Advanced English proficiency is required, given the role´s interaction with global teams.
