Citycare Group is a leading provider of construction, maintenance and management services across New Zealand's built environment.

Description

City Care exists to do the work few others are willing to do. We believe in the intrinsic value of every person. It is with love and compassion that we walk alongside neighbors who are often overlooked in our community. We provide food for the hungry, relief for the hurting, and hold space for complete restoration of lives that have gotten off course. With enough endurance, we witness, firsthand, remarkable stories of transformation.

The Facilities Lead is a hands-on member of City Care's Facilities team at The Harbor, responsible for helping maintain our buildings, grounds, and equipment. Reporting to the Senior Director of Facilities, this position performs general maintenance and repairs, coordinates with vendors, completes routine inspections, and helps keep the Facilities team in Tulsa organized and moving.

This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in fixing things, notices what needs attention before it becomes a bigger problem and understands that good facilities work is ultimately about taking care of people.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance.
  • Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner, communicating progress, delays, or additional needs.
  • Conduct routine facility checks and monthly inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and repair needs.
  • Help prioritize daily Facilities work and lead brief morning team meetings to coordinate assignments and priorities.
  • Monitor and maintain work orders, preventive maintenance, and other facility needs through City Care's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors, including scheduling access, meeting vendors onsite, and confirming work is completed appropriately.
  • Obtain and maintain an Oklahoma Pest Applicator license and perform monthly pest-control services as assigned.
  • Follow City Care maintenance, safety, purchasing, and documentation procedures.
  • Maintain regular and dependable attendance and participate in an occasional on-call or after-hours rotation.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with City Care staff, residents, guests, volunteers, vendors, and community partners.
  • Help maintain facilities that are safe, functional, clean, and welcoming for the people who live, work, and receive services in them.
  • Identify recurring maintenance issues and bring forward solutions that can improve the safety, efficiency, or longevity of City Care property.
Skills & Experience:
  • At least two years of experience in facilities maintenance, residential maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and general building maintenance. Light boiler-system experience is preferred.
  • Multifamily housing experience is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to determine when a repair can be completed in-house and when a licensed contractor or specialist is needed.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work orders and responsibilities across different properties.
  • Dependable, self-directed, and able to complete work with limited supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable using email, text, online calendars, and work-order or property-management software.
  • Ability to work respectfully and effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic personal tool set required.
Physical Requirements:

This is an active, hands-on position. The Facilities Lead must be able to regularly walk properties, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform other movements necessary to complete maintenance work. The position also requires the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
