This is a highly strategic and visible role where you will lead presales engagement for complex Financials opportunities across Education and Local Government organisations throughout APAC. You will play a pivotal role in shaping customer vision, influencing solution direction, and positioning Civica as a trusted transformation partner. Working at the intersection of sales, product, and delivery, you will help organisations modernise financial operations and deliver better outcomes for the communities they serve.

As a senior member of the Presales team, you will engage directly with executive and senior stakeholders, leading value-based conversations that connect business challenges to meaningful transformation outcomes. You will design and deliver compelling solution demonstrations, facilitate strategic workshops, and contribute to high-profile bids and opportunities that have a significant impact on Civica's growth across the region. Your expertise will help shape deal strategy, elevate customer engagement, and strengthen Civica's position as a leading GovTech provider.

Beyond customer engagement, this role provides the opportunity to influence market strategy, product direction, and presales excellence across APAC. You will be recognised as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within Financials, bringing market insight, industry knowledge, and commercial acumen to every interaction. Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role

• Extensive experience in presales, solution consulting, or enterprise software environments with a strong focus on Financials solutions.
• Deep expertise across financial management, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and financial transformation initiatives.
• Proven capability leading complex, enterprise-level opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience selling into or working with Education and/or Local Government organisations.
• Strong consultative selling capability with a focus on business outcomes, value realisation, and customer transformation.
• Ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with executive and senior leadership audiences.
• Exceptional presentation, facilitation, workshop, and solution demonstration skills.
• Experience shaping solution strategy, architecture, and commercial positioning for enterprise opportunities.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes, frameworks, and buying cycles.
• Ability to translate complex business, financial, and regulatory requirements into compelling solution narratives.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence outcomes across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to capability uplift across a presales function.
• Commercial acumen combined with a strong understanding of customer value drivers and market dynamics.
• Awareness of industry trends, regulatory change, and emerging opportunities across Education and Local Government sectors.
• A resilient, self-directed approach with the ability to succeed in fast-paced and evolving environments.
