Senior Credit Risk & Portfolio Strategy Manager

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

A hands-on, strategic role for someone who can understand a credit portfolio, identify what is changing and why, and turn data into actionable credit strategies and scalable tools.

You'll own portfolio risk monitoring, analyzing delinquency, bad rates, vintages, through-the-door performance, concentrations, exposure, utilization, and other key risk indicators

You'll identify emerging risks and opportunities, perform root-cause analysis, and translate findings into concrete portfolio actions

You'll design, implement, and measure credit strategies across the customer lifecycle, including credit line increases and decreases, exposure management, blocks/unblocks, inactivity rules, segmentation, policy cutoffs, and early-warning strategies

You'll monitor and challenge credit models and decision strategies, analyzing performance, backtesting, calibration, segmentation, drift, and the effectiveness of model-driven decisions

You'll use SQL and Python to independently analyze large datasets, build monitoring and decision-making tools, automate recurring analyses, and move from raw data to actionable strategies

You'll use AI and automation to build smarter and more scalable Risk processes and tools. We're looking for someone who enjoys experimenting, coding, and finding better ways to solve problems

You'll monitor portfolio risk appetite, concentrations, covenants, and management indicators, translating complex portfolio dynamics into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders

You'll work cross-functionally with Data, Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Collections to take initiatives from analysis through implementation

We're looking for a true builder mindset: someone analytical and technically strong who doesn't stop at reporting a problem, but wants to understand it, design a solution, build it, and measure whether it worked

5+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Credit Strategy, Portfolio Management, or related analytical roles. Experience in fintech, B2B lending, credit cards, payments, or multi-country portfolios is a strong plus

Strong SQL + Python skills and fluency in English required. Spanish and/or Portuguese are highly valued

Clara’s Hybrid Policy

Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.

We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
