About the Role
This is a hands-on deployment role at an early-stage AI startup building autonomous agents for procure-to-pay workflows. You will own every deployment from signed contract to confirmed first value, bridging sales, engineering, and customers while building the processes and playbooks that allow the company to scale without founders in the loop.
What You'll Do
Own deployments end-to-end: plan timelines, align stakeholders, orchestrate go-live, and shield engineers from onboarding work.
Configure and tune agents to each customer's procure-to-pay reality, testing against real cases until they perform reliably in production.
Translate customer requirements into clear integration specs for engineering (ERP, DMS, email infrastructure) and flag risks early.
Run key user trainings and manage change so customers see real value from day one.
Build support infrastructure from scratch, including ticketing systems, escalation paths, and partner frameworks, and handle live issues directly.
Engage customer IT departments during sales cycles in German, answering security and compliance questions with technical credibility.
Capture recurring challenges, edge cases, and field feedback and bring them back to product and engineering weekly.
Run each onboarding as a structured project, balancing parallel deployments, shifting priorities, and competing stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
2 to 3 years in consulting or structured implementation roles delivering complex projects with senior client stakeholders.
Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and tuning AI agents or autonomous systems in production environments.
Native German proficiency and strong professional English (C1+), with the ability to lead technical discussions with IT departments and senior management.
Experience mapping enterprise business processes such as procure-to-pay or order-to-cash to system workflows and integration requirements.
Technical depth in ERP systems, data integration, and enterprise IT infrastructure sufficient to translate customer requirements into engineering specs.
Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project delivery: planning, timelines, stakeholder coordination, and go-live execution.
Experience building operational processes, playbooks, and support infrastructure from scratch in early-stage or scaling environments.
Background in supply chain, procurement, or industrial operations is a strong plus.
Daily hands-on use of AI tools and a practical understanding of what agents can and cannot do.
Builder mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, able to make decisions with incomplete information, and strong presence with procurement and IT leadership.
