About the Role
This is a high-ownership engineering role at an early-stage healthtech startup building an AI-powered payer compliance platform for procedure-heavy medical specialties. You'll own the integration layer between the platform and real-world provider and insurance systems, sitting close to both the founding team and clients to turn complex healthcare workflows into clean technical solutions.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain integrations with provider practices and insurance systems using APIs, web scrapers, and RPA tooling as needed.
Join client discovery sessions with founders to map workflows and translate them into clear technical requirements.
Ship custom integrations quickly and iterate based on real-world feedback from live deployments.
Contribute to the core product when integration work isn't the bottleneck.
Develop deep working knowledge of the US provider/payer landscape.
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production features.
Startup background with experience owning features or products end-to-end in small teams, from discovery through delivery.
Proven ability to integrate with third-party APIs.
Proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or equivalent backend framework) and React + TypeScript (or equivalent frontend).
Active, hands-on use of AI coding tools - with real shipped production work to show for it.
Strong communication skills; able to clearly articulate technical problems and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have: experience building web scrapers or RPA solutions; AWS or GCP infrastructure experience; production LLM application development; prior work in US healthcare or with provider/payer systems.
Compensation & Benefits

Location
