About the Role
This is a high-impact individual contributor role at a fast-growing gig economy and flexible staffing platform, where you'll help build foundational infrastructure from the ground up. You'll own core systems end-to-end - from purpose-built AI coding agents to an integrations runtime platform - and help set the engineering patterns that shape the team's future.
What You'll Do
Design and build purpose-specific AI coding agents from scratch to power supply chain connectivity.
Develop and maintain core infrastructure for hosting and running integrations (think: an internal mini-deployment platform).
Own key systems end-to-end, making foundational architectural decisions across both the agent platform and integrations runtime.
Establish engineering patterns and practices that will define how the team builds going forward.
Work across both cutting-edge agentic tooling and complex, production-grade infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
3+ years shipping and owning complex software products end-to-end, with at least one stint at a VC-backed startup (seed through Series B).
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern full-stack development.
Hands-on experience building with AI agents and LLMs using current, production-ready patterns.
Demonstrated ability to build products from scratch with minimal direction and high autonomy.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent demonstrated academic excellence.
Background at high-caliber, fast-growing startups rather than exclusively large enterprise or non-tech environments.
Nice to have: Former founder or founding/early engineer who built 0→1; side projects demonstrating initiative (agentic tools, launched consumer or developer products).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $150,000 - $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
