About the Role
This is a full-stack product engineering role on a lean, high-impact team building agentic AI systems for real-world property operations. You will own features end-to-end, modernize legacy systems, and turn messy operational workflows into reliable, autonomous software. The work directly shapes how AI agents observe, decide, and act across guest communication, operational decisions, and property tasks.
What You'll Do
Design and build agentic AI workflows for guest communication (chat and voice), operational decisions, and property tasks.
Own features end-to-end, learning the business deeply enough to drive solutions independently.
Modernize legacy systems and redesign data structures to meet evolving product requirements.
Shadow real workflows to uncover inefficiencies, workarounds, and hidden steps.
Translate messy processes into clean, production-ready software.
Scope, ship, and iterate on problems rather than just executing tickets.
Collaborate with internal teams to keep product and engineering work aligned.
What We're Looking For
Genuine full-stack TypeScript engineer (React, Next.js, Node/Express) with strong backend depth, not primarily frontend or backend only.
Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems in production: tool orchestration, evals, and multi-agent workflows, not just adding an LLM to a feature.
Comfortable with agentic engineering tools such as Claude Code or Codex, running multiple agents and terminals in parallel.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS; experience with microservice architecture and resilient backend integrations.
Strong product thinking and attention to user experience down to interaction wording and messaging.
Ability to manage yourself: plan work, communicate progress, and flag blockers proactively.
Track record of shipping quickly while exercising sound judgment about what can safely break.
Demonstrable independent builder signals such as personal projects, an active GitHub, hackathon participation, or founding experience.
Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work from the Berlin office at least three days per week.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: €90,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must have existing authorization to work in Germany.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany, with a requirement to be in the office at least three days per week. Candidates who need to relocate to Berlin are welcome.
