Tax Associate | WFO | Ortigas / Makati

We are currently on the lookout for a new Tax Associate to join our team at Cloudstaff, the #1 workplace everywhere!

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, K-1, 1120/1120-S, 990
• Developaccurateworkpapers for individual, corporate, and partnership tax engagement
• Communicate professionally with clients to support requests and resolve inquiries
• Monitor filing deadlines and assistwith the IRSor otherstate agencies
• Review work quality and implement improvements to reduce errors over time
• Collaborate with team to identifyworkflow improvements and increase efficiency
• Conduct tax research and provide insights for planning and compliance
• Mentor junior staff by reviewing work and providing constructive feedback

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experiencein Big 4 or public accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience preparing federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals
• Strong technology, research, and professional writing skills
• Actively pursuing CPA designation or CPA eligible

What We Prefer

• Pursuing or completed Master’s in Accounting or Taxation
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Skilled in analyzing and presenting tax conclusions and risks
• Passionate about leveragingand exploring innovative technology solutions
• Experienced in accounting for income taxes under ASC740
• Knowledgeable in international taxation and cross-border tax issues
