Join Coface Technologies and contribute to ICON, a strategic platform undergoing large-scale modernization. You will lead a Java team delivering cloud-native, scalable and resilient solutions using modern technologies.
Your Mission - You will combine hands-on technical leadership with people management, guiding your team in building high-quality microservices while promoting ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
- Design and deliver microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Ensure code quality, security, performance and reliability
- Collaborate with architects, product owners and other teams
- Drive architectural and technical decisions
- Oversee code reviews, CI/CD and production readiness
- Contribute hands-on to complex features and POCs
- Support agile planning, estimation and delivery
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding

Required Skills & Experience
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 8+ years of Java development experience; at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong Java fundamentals (collections, concurrency, streams)
- Proven experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Experience designing distributed and microservice-based systems
- Good knowledge of database design and transaction management
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong time management and multi-tasking capability
- Excellent communication and leadership skills (English)
Nice to Have
- Event-driven systems and Kafka expertise.
- Security best practices in distributed systems.
- Experience in international environments.
