The Phoenix office is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer with four to seven plus years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from civil design projects through construction.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Expected Base Salary: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 based on knowledge and experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
- Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Certified Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
- Registration in Arizona preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the design of commercial, office, mixed-use, residential, municipal, alternative energy, health care, higher education, and Federal projects, including design of:
- Grading and drainage
- Underground utilities
- Site layouts
- ADA design
- Stormwater management
- Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team
- Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of public improvement and grading plans, and earthwork calculations
- Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Specification preparation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to foster long term client relationships
- Arizona experience and relationships a plus
