Job Description:

Coforge Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and proactive Deskside Technician to join our dynamic IT support team. As a Deskside Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees have reliable access to the technology and support they need to excel in their roles. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing end-user support, and maintaining IT equipment. You will work collaboratively with IT teams and other departments to enhance service delivery and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide on-site technical support for computing devices and related peripherals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently.

- Take ownership of support requests and follow through until resolution, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware, software, and other IT equipment.

- Document support processes and maintain accurate records of service requests.

- Assist in the implementation of new technology solutions and provide training to end-users.

- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and MacOS operating systems.

- Strong understanding of common software applications and productivity tools.

- Familiarity with hardware components, networking concepts, and remote support tools.

- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on user experience and customer support.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with ticketing systems for tracking and managing support requests.

- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
