START Data Engineer 2026 - 2522

Task Description: Data Engineer / Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, Teradata, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Stored Procedures.

Experience:

5-10 years of experience in Data Engineering / Software Engineering, with strong enterprise data warehouse development and production support experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex Snowflake and Teradata Stored Procedures.
  • Design and develop data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Develop complex SQL, views, tables, and transformation logic.
  • Build staging, integration, target, and presentation data layers.
  • Implement incremental loads, reload logic, reconciliation, and data-quality checks.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, and credit consumption.
  • Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SFTP, and Python as required.
  • Develop data models including fact, dimension, and aggregate tables.
  • Support Power BI/Cognos reporting requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Follow software engineering practices including Git, testing, code reviews, and deployment.
