Senior Java Microservices Developer

Location: Bangalore

Years of Experience: 7-10 years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Microservices Developer with a strong background in developing scalable and efficient microservices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, particularly in the travel domain. This role requires a deep understanding of microservices architecture and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java microservices that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java and microservices.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Java programming language.
  • Proven experience in developing microservices using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the travel domain or related industries.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java microservices.
