We are looking for a Sales Engineer to support customers throughout the sales process, understand their technical needs, and deliver tailored solutions.

The Sales Engineer role is responsible for supporting and driving the technical and solution-oriented aspects of the sales cycle, helping customers understand Cognyte’s portfolio value and how its solutions address their business needs. The role combines discovery, solution design, product expertise, customer-facing communication, demo and workshop delivery, deal strategy support, and cross-functional coordination with Sales, Product, Delivery, and other internal stakeholders.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Leading lengthy pre-sale engagements with tier-1 customers, including ideation, design finalization, and RFI/RFP timely submissions
• Build trusted relationships with customer technical and executive stakeholders.
• Managing indirectly, R&D, Product Management, and Project Management professionals, to form an optimal design and delivery plan of the solution based on customer’s needs
• Advising senior management on each engagement’s P&L, while minimizing risks and adhering to Cognyte’s internal legal and financial guidelines
• Setting customer needs internally in order to impact Cognyte’s product roadmap so that we can maintain our position as industry leader
• Design innovative solutions leveraging Cognyte's intelligence analytics, SIGINT, cyber, AI, telecommunications, big data, and cloud portfolio.

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

• 3 Years of experience in a Sales, Pre-Sale, Solution Manage or Sales Engineering Roles or technical project management position (detailed and technical oriented projects)
• Detail-oriented professional who is exceptionally good at multidiscipline in-bound and out-bound process management, analysis and problem-solving.
• Crafting compelling well-structured proposals, solution briefs, and customer-facing materials that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Excellent English skills both communications and presentations are required.
• Good business orientation, with a comprehensive understanding of financial policies and strategic goals
• Team player, capable of leveraging personal soft skills to achieve goals while working with various internal functions
• Domain expertise in a sector/industry driven by technology such as Telecommunications, Cyber, Analytics Solutions, IT Infrastructure, Big-Data and Artificial Intelligence - an advantage.
