IT INFRASTRUCTURE & DEVOPS ENGINEER

We are looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to take ownership of a company's technology environment while providing technical support to its software development team.

This is a varied role combining Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, networking, server management, web hosting and software deployment.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, enjoys troubleshooting, understands software development environments and is comfortable taking responsibility for an entire IT environment within a small team.

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, security, access, monitoring and costs.

• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, email accounts and user permissions.

• Maintain Windows Servers, local networks, firewalls, VPNs and backups.

• Manage domains, DNS, SSL certificates, web hosting and IIS.

• Maintain GitHub repositories, CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.

• Support the development team with infrastructure and application-related issues.

• Troubleshoot technical problems and automate routine processes using PowerShell.

• Maintain technical documentation and ensure system availability and security.

• 3–5 years' experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration or DevOps.

• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

• Good knowledge of Windows Server, networking, firewalls and VPNs.

• Experience with web hosting, IIS, DNS and SSL certificates.

• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub, including deployment processes.

• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

• Some hands-on development experience with C#/.NET and JavaScript.

• Exposure to Vue.js would be advantageous.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership and solve technical problems.

• Linux administration experience.

• Microsoft Azure or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
