Requirements

What makes you shine

You’re a motivated problem solver and a curious learner - with a passion for building the technologies that bring AI-powered solutions to life. You’ll thrive with us if you bring:

  • A strong academic foundation - you’re currently in your 3rd year or beyond of a quantitative or STEM field Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Econometrics) with excellent results

  • Technical thinking and engineering skills - you enjoy designing infrastructure, developing applications, or building data pipelines

  • A hands-on, growth mindset - you take initiative, embrace challenges, and are eager to learn and develop continuously

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills - you’re comfortable collaborating and explaining your ideas clearly in technical discussions

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

If you're hesitating because you don't meet every requirement, don't let that hold you back. Strong candidates often underestimate how well they fit a role. If this opportunity excites you, we encourage you to apply!

Where and how you’ll work

Most of your work will take place from our Amsterdam office, where you'll collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a variety of projects while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and international environment. Rewire's Amsterdam office is more than just a workplace, it's a hub for collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving. And because great work happens when people feel connected, we also regularly come together for team events, celebrations, and Friday drinks.

We're aiming for a minimum of 16 hours per week, ideally around 24 hours spread across three days, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while balancing your studies.

While the Amsterdam office will be your primary workspace, occasional work from home is possible in alignment with your team, providing flexibility and supporting a healthy balance between work and study.

As projects go by, your role naturally grows, and you get the opportunity to take on more responsibility and ownership.

What stands out to me most is Rewire's focus on growth and development. Additionaly, I get to work alongside some of the smartest and most driven people in the field. Combined with the great culture and activities it makes Rewire a genuinely enjoyable place to work.” -Duncan van Woerkom - Data Engineer at Rewire
