Debtors Supervisor

Job Description:

• Lead and develop the debtors and collections team
• Manage the full accounts receivable function
• Review debtor aging and drive collection initiatives
• Monitor account balances and investigate overdue accounts
• Resolve customer queries and disputes effectively
• Ensure accurate reconciliations of debtor accounts
• Prepare weekly and monthly collections reports
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers
• Support management with cash flow forecasting information
• Identify opportunities to improve debtors’ processes and controls

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within debtors, credit control or accounts receivable
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong collections and debtor management skills
• Experience managing high-value customer accounts
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• ERP system exposure
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Qualification:

• Matric essential
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field advantageous
