Financial Manager: Operations & Treasury

Job Description:

• Manage cash flow forecasting and support effective treasury and banking operations.
• Monitor liquidity, working capital and funding requirements to support business objectives.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts, financial reports and business performance analysis.
• Provide meaningful insights on financial results, budgets and forecasts to support decision-making.
• Partner with operational teams to improve project profitability, cost control and financial visibility.
• Support debtor, creditor and cash collection activities to optimise cash flow.
• Assist with the evaluation of projects, contracts and commercial initiatives from a financial perspective.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with banks, auditors and other external stakeholders where required.
• Identify process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency and overall financial performance.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3-6 years' relevant finance experience.
• Exposure to cash flow forecasting, treasury, management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience within a project-based, engineering, construction, manufacturing, services or operational environment advantageous.

Qualification:

• CA(SA) Advantageous OR
• CIMA OR
• Degree with extensive experience
