Group Financial Manager

Job Description:

• Lead and manage the full financial function across multiple entities
• Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning
• Manage annual audits, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements
• Oversee VAT, income tax, and other regulatory submissions
• Assist with group consolidation and annual financial statements
• Monitor and enhance key financial and operational performance indicators
• Conduct financial modelling and profitability analysis on new and existing projects
• Review and approve creditor payments and financial transactions
• Manage development project drawdowns and project-related financial reporting
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive high performance
• Partner with executive management on strategic decision-making and growth initiatives
• Continuously improve financial controls, processes, and reporting structures
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information to stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing and leading finance teams
• Proven experience as a Senior Financial Manager, Group Financial Manager or similar leadership role
• Industry exposure in either Healthcare, Construction, Investments, Property or Hospitality industry experience is non-negotiable
• Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience working within a dynamic, fast-changing business environment
• Strong financial modelling, reporting, and forecasting capabilities
• Experience dealing with high volumes of financial transactions
• Strong systems knowledge, with experience on ERP and accounting platforms
• Ability to engage confidently with executives, directors, and senior stakeholders
• Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to be involved in operational detail
